# Join a workspace

> Sign in with a team invitation and open the Polysh workspace you were invited to.

Polysh does not offer open signup. You join a workspace when an administrator invites you.

  <Step title="Open the invitation">
    Use the link in the invitation email. That link is what lets a new account finish signing up.

  <Step title="Sign in">
    If you already have an account, open the app and sign in. A visit to the public sign-up page without an invitation returns you to sign-in.

  <Step title="Confirm the workspace">
    If you belong to more than one workspace, select the one you were invited to before you open a project.

## If you cannot get in

    The account is signed in, but it is not a member of a workspace. Ask a workspace administrator to invite you, then sign in again.

  <Accordion title="You cannot create a project">
    Creating a project is an administrator action. Members can open and edit projects that already exist.

  <Accordion title="You need to invite someone else">
    Workspace administrators manage members, invitations, and roles in Organization settings.
