# Credits

> Your workspace shows an estimate before processing or export, and a balance your administrator can check.

Credits are how a workspace pays for work such as an export. The workspace shows an estimate before you confirm. That estimate is for this job. It is not a public price list.

    Export shows the estimate for the video languages you selected, and for a guide when a guide is included. A guides-only export estimates the guide on its own.

  <Step title="Confirm only if the balance covers it">
    The available balance stays visible in the workspace. If it is too low to start, ask a workspace administrator.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check again if a job fails">
    A failed or cancelled job releases the credits it had reserved. The project status explains what happened.
