# Your first project

> Record one task, review the script, and make a video, a guide, or both.

A small, complete task is a good first project. Show where it starts, what changes, and how you know it worked.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Home or Library">
    Home is where you land after sign-in. Library lists the projects in this workspace.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Start a project">
    A workspace administrator creates the project. Record the screen from Record, or start from a recording you already have.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the script">
    On the project’s Video page, read the narration and fix names, button labels, and the order of actions before you generate a voice.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Make the outputs">
    Use Export when you want a narrated video, a step-by-step guide, or both. The workspace shows an estimate before you continue.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check, then share">
    Watch the exported video from Share, and read the guide from Guide. Create a link only after the result looks right.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Where each part lives

| What you are doing | Where to open it |
| - | - |
| Capture a new recording | Record |
| Watch and refine the walkthrough | Video, on the project |
| Edit the full script | Script, from the project |
| Read or edit the written steps | Guide |
| Download an export or send a link | Share |

<Tip>
  You do not have to make both outputs. A guide can be created without exporting a video when a written reference is all you need.
